There is good reason why this time of year gets called the ????? season. There is a lot to do before the year ends, there are goodbyes and transitions, there is an increase in financial pressures, there is social gatherings which are not always wanted and the list goes on.The business of life increases significantly and there can be less time to care for our own needs.
Even though this time of year is suppose to be about ????? and ???, ?????? and ????, ?????? and ?????? it can also be full of ??????, ?????????, ????? and ??????????.
?? ?? ????? ??????? ??? ???? ??? ????? ?? ??? ?????? ????. ???? ??? ???? ????:
-Thinking of gifts, having to buy them & tackle the shops, wrapping them and making sure they are delivered to those they are brought for
-Scheduling and coordinating the social gatherings, managing the needs of the baby/kids & navigating unwanted advice/feedback
-Mothers often take the most time off work or have the stress of arranging care for children when childcare/kinder/school is closed
-Feeling stressed and tired while also having to host, which includes cooking & cleaning for family
-Feeling pressured, unable to maintain your wishes or boundaries & left feeling unable to enjoy the festive season
Now of course it’s not ?????? all of these things for all mothers. But this just highlights that the holidays are not always relaxing and fun!
It’s so important that mamas get the chance to enjoy this time of year as well!
But it does usually mean putting ?????????? in place and getting some ???????.
